Me

My favorite thing to do on friday night is to curl up on the couch with a good book or movie. I am a chocoholic and am very good at functioning on no sleep. I love to sing at the top of my lungs while I am doing dishes and tap dance in line at the grocery store – I actually wanted to be a Broadway star up until I was about 17. I am not afraid of looking ridiculous and love to make people smile and laugh. Besides my own bed, my favorite place in the entire world is the Art Institute of Chicago.

In all seriousness though, I have always been interested in the arts, having been performing since I was four years old. Although the feeling of a curtain opening to an audience full of people compares to no other, so does the feeling of teaching – in a different way. I want to be an art teacher so people can find something in their life that they are just as passionate  about as I am.
